Gosar Betrays The Constitution Again

When Congressman Paul Gosar was first elected in CD-1, he told me that he was very disappointed with my blog for criticizing his vote to extend the Patriot Act and other unconstitutional positions he had taken.
I tried to explain to him that he was expected by those who voted for him to uphold the Constitution. After all, at every speech he gave on the campaign trail he would hold up a pocket Constitution and promise to consult it before every vote. And of course, once elected he took an oath to uphold the Constitution.
Today I came across a very telling video where Congressman Gosar really lets his true colors show. The video speaks volumes and all I have to say is that Gosar will not be missed in CD-1. Hopefully CD-4 (where he is now running) rejects him and replaces him with a true Constitutional candidate.

I know Dr. Paul Gosar and your statements about him are completely false! This video has been edited to show a false picture of Dr. Gosar! Shame on you! Dr. Gosar’s poiny was that it is THE CONSITUTION PLUS Inidividual cititzen action (voting) that causes change.

I know Gosar very very well too. He is NOT a Constitutionalist. I have argued with him many many times.
GOSAR appears to be another John Songbird McCain in training.
I know the dentist very well, too. He strikes me as a carpetbagger who talks out of both sides of his mouth. Like most opportunistic political wannabes, he saw the groundswell of the libertarian-inspired Tea Party movement and jumped on the band-wagon. He’s no libertarian — not by a long shot. But he talks the talk. He just doesn’t walk the talk. Quick! Everybody look surprised.
He’s the same cucaracha who tried to get Flagstaff to fluoridate their water supply ten years ago using sneaky back-room tactics. Fortunately, a few of us fought his group and brought the issue to a vote. Oh yeah, we won handily.
Talk about a sore loser! As the votes were being counted, he and one of his dentist pals had clearly been “celebrating” in anticipation of a victory. It was a true schadenfreude moment for me standing in the the courthouse lobby with our small group. The shocked looks on their florid faces as the count gradually turned against them . . . priceless! Gosar leaned into my face and blustered, “This is a small town blah blah blah”. [Wow, was that a threat, little dude?]
I was not surprised to hear that after licking his wounds he started a run for Congress. Good riddance and God help the rest of the country.

What is scary is that the Tea Party people support this idiot.
